HAND-CHISELLED 19KT YELLOW GOLD PORTUGUESE CRUCIFIX

Gorgeous Portuguese crucifix in 19kt yellow gold representing Jesus crucified. The term crucifix refers to a cross with Jesus on it. Sublime work of details on both sides, this pendant is in good condition. On the left side has a missing small flower. The crucifix is dating from the 65s. Portuguese jewelery art is famous for the quality of the gold, 19kt, and the very decorative design details of the handwork. Different techniques are used to decorate this crucifix. Beaded wire : Wire is referred to as “beaded” when a bead-like decorative element is added to its edge.
